VOLCANOS & EARTHQUAKES
Are these 'end-time signs', 'judgements from God', or 'Mother Nature kicking up her heels?
I have heard all three views circulating.
While there is a scientific correlation between earthquakes and volcano's (which came first - The chicken or the egg?). According to Matthew 24, if there is any 'spiritual significance to the natural activity we have seen of late, at best, in Jesus' words, it could only be the 'Beginning of Sorrows'.
What about the end of the world or judgment? -- I don't think so.
Jesus speaks in Matthew 24:14, 'And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world to all nations (Greek=ethnos or races) and then the end will come'.

We still have a lot of work to do, so let's keep focused
on our privilege sharing the good news until Jesus comes!

That's what I was doing, ministering the life of Jesus when I got stuck in Andorra!
STRANDED
At the end of my last trip, I was stranded for 5 days in Andorra due to the volcanic ash that stopped air traffic over Europe.
Great place to be stranded. Great people to be stranded with.
Finally made it home - a 48 hour journey:

By car over the Pyrenees Mountains into France.

12 hours in sunny Paris.
WELL SOMEBODY HAS TO DO THE HARD STUFF!
I never really appreciated the Eiffel Tower until I saw it up close.

A lightning-fast trip to UK; only 2 hours on the Euro Star Tunnel train from Paris to London.
Another overnight train from London to Scotland.
Only to face the common reality of life - the first mowing of the overgrown lawn, well overdue after my five week trip.
GREAT MINISTRY TRIP
In spite of the difficulties of getting home, it was a great ministry trip. We have seen some amazing miracles this year.

The mayor of the city attended a conference and was prayed for by conference leaders.
During the prayer time, the Lord gave us words of prophecy and words of knowledge for him, and I had the privilage of leading him to the Lord. (Hungary)
We give all the glory to the Lord for these and many, many more salvations and healings.
Hard time getting home - Hard time leaving home - What about getting home again?
After being home a few days, I flew out of Edinburgh to Kiev for another month of traveling in Eastern Europe.
Then I almost did not make it out of UK. All the BA flights out of Edinburgh were shut down. As the 'cheap-no-frills' airline I was flying took off for London, it was one of the last flights to leave Scotland before all Scottish airports shut down. I arrived in London, and my flight for Kiev had just taken off, and all UK airports shut down.
I plan to RETURN HOME IN JUNE - SOME WAY, SOME HOW! Life is never dull as we serve the Lord but not always certain.
ASH OR NO ASH,
ONE THING IS CERTAIN!
